Incredibly romantic wedding with a unique golden arch
If l had to describe this weddding with a golden arch quickly, it would be FUN!
Fun, fun and again fun with so many details, gifts, entertainment during these 5 crazy and happy days of celebration. From our side, we planned altogether with Anna (the bride), two-full-days events and the transportation of the guests during all these 5 days. l remember for the wedding, coming on a thursday at the venue and going out on a Sunday morning with some big smiles on our faces and a lot of memories sparkling in our eyes. We were exhausted when we went home, let’s be honest, but all the tireness is wiped out when you remember how fun and gorgeous was this incredible wedding.
Today we will begin with the western day but stay tuned because the chinese day’s story (with lions, tea ceremony, Peking Duck..) will be online very soon.
I met Anna and Hadley after a frustrated experience they had with another planner. They contacted me in January and the wedding was the 1st week of August, same year. We had to rush a bit. I inmediately felt good vibes with Anna (and then with Hadley in a 2d call). It was a luck because we had to speed up the planning and Anna and Hadley were pure love and so helpful from every angle. The challenge were in all the details (for the guests, the bridesmaids, the pool party, the photobooth van..) and the entertainment. I’m not including the decoration, the different setups, the gastronomy requests, the transportation during 5 days or all the internal logistics and emails/calls echanges with over 20 vendors. We spent dedicated hours for design, logistics (menu, timing, entertainment, accommodation..) and looking for good value ressources.
The venue was a pituresque Castle in the heart of the Costa Brava surrounded by olive trees fields, lavander and beautiful narrow streets made with stone and History.

For the western wedding, Anna wore 3 beautiful outfits, each one fulfilling with maximum excellence their role.
On the top picture, we can see the lovely booklet for the bride’s vows with a wild silk ribbon. During the morning of the wedding, the preparations were all laughs and good mood between Anna and her 8 bridesmaids. Fun, bubbles, special outfits and sneakers for the ladies were on the agenda … Let’s greet with champagne!
And have a look how Anna with the help of her bridesmaids put her beautiful wedding gown on. She was just gorgeous!
Regarding the bridesmaids, the dress code was a palette of colors of different tones of nude and golden. Each one with a different style, neckline or cut of the dress but all of them within the palette of colors. The effect was stunning and vanguardist.
Wedding with a golden arch
Anna’s entrance to the ceremony with the vintage VW left the guests speachless. We worked hard on the ceremony design and actually it is was we like the best. We enjoy creating breathtaking designs in epic sceneries.
In this case, we placed the (tailor-made) golden arch in a way it framed the tower bell of the Castle. At his feet we placed a rug of petals (initially we thought about some true rugs but the petals matched better) and many candles in different crystal vases.
The entrance of the aisle was with two big flowerbeds on each side and we continued the aisle with more petals (with a righ density) all along.
The palette of colors was cream, white, pale pink and pink.
The bouquets of the bridesmaids were made of pink astilbes (which we love) and a large white silk ribbon in order make a nice contrast.
the bridal bouqquet was made of spray roses, wild flowers and olive leaves and a thin velvet pink ribbon.
During the appetizers, the guests could enjoy some Aperol Spritz, cava rosé and local gastronomy with the beautiful view of the spanish countryside and its sunset.
Same as spectacular was the photo shoot Anna and Hadley did in the tiny and so picturesque streets next to the castle. We are speechless in front of the beauty of these photographs.
The dinner took place outdoors, under the pergola. We wanted the place full of «nature» similar to a decor of a forest, with lots of eucalyptus and olive leaves, greenery, flowerbeds and tiny lights everywhere. In order to emphasise the decor, we placed branches all along the ceiling with small led lights and more greenery for the centerpieces.
Furthermore, we mixed high centerpieces with trees and low centerpieces. We kept the same palette of colors of the ceremony adding the golden touch with the chandeliers and the candleholders.
The place names, which were also as a beautiful favour for the guests were hand crafted ceramic tiles and painted one by one with the name of the guests.
The cherry on the top was the luminous sign «Sempre Junts» we placed behind the sweet heart table. Always together..
The dinner begun with some dance and good vibes! It was fun!
And to keep the mood on, the groomsmen suprised the newlyweds with an incredible and funny Aka Dance. You cannot miss it!
The first dance and the toss of the bridal bouquet took place in front of the chapel with a special care of the LIGHTS : some long sparkles, path of light in the ground and colored light on the facade.
And the wedding could not end in another way : with many hours of dance, open bar and a live «band» like the official Daft Punk Tribute
